Aviator Marketing is proud to offer internship opportunities for some of Tampa’s brightest young marketing minds.

Aviator Marketing interns will study and work directly with founder and principal Brian McNay. Mr. McNay holds an MBA as well as a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business. Our founder is also a Certified Associate in Project Management, and an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop! This is an excellent opportunity to learn a variety of marketing disciplines from an expert marketer in Tampa.

All internships are non-paid. The experience you gain for working with and learn from Brian is far more valuable than any hourly rate you would earn performing busy work for another company. While you’re in school is the critical time to gain real-world experience from working on actual client projects.

All internship work will be performed remotely. You will learn to manage your time between personal life, school, and work.

You’ll begin with market research to understand a client’s business, industry, competitors, and target audience. You’ll then analyze that business to identify their core customers, what their buying behaviors are, where they are, and why they buy.

You’ll then perform an internal analysis on that company in order to determine their competitive advantage. If no competitive advantage is found, you’ll work to strategize the development of one.

Finally, you’ll create a plan to exploit their competitive advantage in the markets they operate in, allocating appropriate resources to execute and succeed. Because of the extensive research and time commitments of this work, Strategic Marketing internships are reserved for graduate students only.
